What is Power Delivery?

Power Delivery (PD) is a charging standard that can be used to charge or operate devices with a power of up to 240 watts. The technology only works with USB-C ports. That's why it is often referred to as USB-C Power Delivery or USB Power Delivery (USB-PD).
